The Sewing Table is a functional block used to sew insulation items into armor.
For more information on the insulation process, see Armor Insulation.

Using the GUI, an armor item can be combined with an insulation ingredient to add insulating properties to the armor item, providing heat resistance, cold resistance, or both. The insulation item is consumed in this process, but it can be retrieved by using shears in the GUI instead of an insulation item. This process retains any custom data that the insulation item has, such as a custom name. Compatible enchantments are irreversibly transferred to the armor item, however.

The boiler is crafted in a 3x3 crafting grid as below. Any color of wool and any type of planks can be interchangeably used:
