1-3 goat fur are dropped when shearing a Goat. 1 goat fur is always dropped when killing the animal, even when shorn.

Note: In 1.16, Cold Sweat adds a goat entity that mirrors the one present in 1.18.

Goat fur is primarily an insulation item fit for cold environments. It grants 2 cold insulation ( ) when applied to armor.
