Right click to turn on, and right click again to turn off. While the laser is on, it will attract all cats in a 6-block-radius of you- including sitting cats- and they will follow the beam until you turn the laser off!

The laser itself will only work within a 9-block-radius of where you stand, and any cats that find themselves outside of that radius will lose sight of it. Cats will not return to sitting after chasing a laser!
