Tree squirrel - Mnesikos/LilCritters GitHub Wiki
This page is a work in progress!
Tree squirrels are common spawns in temperate forest (eastern grey, Mexican grey, eastern fox, eurasian red) and deep rainforest (Prevost's), and wet rainforest (forest giant) biomes. They always spawn in groups of 1-3 animals. Male and females are equally likely to spawn, and are not sexually dimorphic.
The tree squirrel is a fast speed, timid animal.
Tree squirrels can be tamed with omnivore kibble.
Tree squirrels have 2 hearts (4 points) of health, can deal 0.5 hearts of damage, and drop 1 small meat upon death.
Tree squirrels are tiny animals with miniscule food needs. They eat an omnivore diet.
Tree squirrels can use the branch, rope, scented ball, and puzzle feeder enrichment items.
Tree squirrels are a high fertility species, and can be bred with pumpkin seeds. As tiny-sized animals they have a gestation time of 24,000 ticks, and give birth to 4-5 pups that will take 2 minecraft days to reach adulthood.
(note: exhibit building sections contain a mix of gameplay information and building advice. Not all recommendations are necessary to keep animals happy, fed, and watered, but can help players build a realistic enclosure.)
Six species of tree squirrel are represented: eastern grey squirrel, Mexican grey squirrel, eastern fox squirrel, Eurasian red squirrel, Prevost's squirrel, and forest giant squirrel.
