Small-clawed otters are rare spawns in fast fresh water biomes. They always spawn in groups of 4-6 animals. Male and females are equally likely to spawn, and are not sexually dimorphic.

The small-clawed otter is a fast speed, defensive animal.

Small-clawed otters can be tamed with shellfish kibble.

Small-clawed otters have 5 hearts (10 points) of health, can deal 1 heart of damage, and drop 1 small meat upon death.

Small-clawed otters are small animals with moderate food needs. They eat a shellfish diet.

Small-clawed otters can use the scented ball, scratching post, tire swing, puzzle feeder, and sprinkler enrichment items.

Small-clawed otters are a medium fertility species, and can be bred with mussels. As small-sized animals they have a gestation time of 40,000 ticks, and give birth to 1-2 pups that will take 3 1/3 minecraft days to reach adulthood.

Small-clawed otters have 4 natural variants: Carson, Cousteau, Earle, and Hass. These are in-game color variants, not real subspecies.
