21. Configs ‐ Healing - Mirdain/Silmaril GitHub Wiki
Healer
This section will review basic setup for a healer. Job will be WHM/SCH.
Cure
Cures can be quickly setup by utilizing the Auto Party Cure check box, which automatically adds any party members to the cure list.
Otherwise, utilizing the player priority list to fill out the members to monitor, allows inside of party or outside of party healing.
Next, enable which cure spells to use and update the potency to the Actual cure values.
Debuff Removal
Again choose the party members to monitor for debuff removal, or select Auto Party Debuff.
Enable the Priority categories, and add the desired debuffs to monitor for and remove, or utilize the DEFAULT button to place the debuffs automatically in each category.
The lists are fully customizable. Debuffs can be moved up/down the list, or to the Not Set category to either disable monitoring, or to move from one priority list, to another. Notice how Charm and Helix show up on both lists, ready to be added to any.
Enhancing
Enhancing will buff and maintain buffs depending on various settings. The Maintain Buffs check box will recast the buff when the remaining time reaches the slider selection.
Select the enhancing spells desired for each player.
Self will allow for self targeted enhancing. Some spells may be combined with Job Abilities to make it AOE, shown later.
Enable the Priority categories, and add the desired buffs to each category, or utilize the DEFAULT button to place the enhancing spells automatically in each category.
Job Abilities
For job abilities, we will assume WHM/SCH. Main Job and Support Job are selected at the top. *Note: Stance type job abilites cant both be selected at the same time. They should be chosen based on the type of profile being created.
Main Job settings allow for Afflatus Solace to be maintained, and Devotion to be used on the RDM character when its MP falls below 20%.
Support Job settings utilize Light Arts, and will maintain Regen as an AOE spell to keep Regen on the whole party.
Sublimation will allow the job ability to begin charging MP. The usage settings shown will use a fully charged Sublimation if the WHM MP falls below 40%. If Sublimation is not charged yet, but the WHM is using too much MP and falls to 25%, then an incomplete Sublimation will be used to supplement the low MP.
Priority
Priority is one of the most important settings to ensure Silmaril is behaving as expected. This is the order in which various settings will be utilized. For a healer, these settings shown below will generally be preferred. Full party cures, then single target cures, then debuff removal, then enhancing magic. All used in that order.
