Fancy Crafters operate similar to the vanilla crafter, with a few changes.

Fancy crafters are considerably faster than vanilla crafters, operating at 1 item per tick instead of per 4 ticks. Additionally, they can also hold an extra 8 items, which will be used to refill the crafter automatically. They will output products to a container in front of them, and drop them on top if no container was found. (The block above them must be non-solid, otherwise this will not happen and crafting stops.)

Fancy crafters will visually display their contents. The contents of the crafting grid will be displayed on top, and the contents of the extra slots will be displayed behind the glass pane at the front of the crafter.
