Bookcase - MinecraftschurliMods/Bibliocraft-Legacy GitHub Wiki

The Bookcase is a block that allows you to store up to 16 books and book-like items. It will be shown visually which slots the books sit in. Bookcases come in all wood variants.

Bookcases can be used in enchanting. Every book sitting in the bookcase will contribute 1/8 enchanting power. This means that a half-filled bookcase will count as 1 bookshelf, and a full bookcase will count as 2 bookshelves.

If a Redstone Book is added to the bookcase, it will emit a redstone signal based on the slot the Redstone Book resides in. The first slot will emit no power, the second slot will emit a signal of strength 1, the third slot will emit a signal of strength 2, etc., and the last slot will emit a signal of 15.
