Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from order to delivery to effectively support software product implementation and development
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within the scope, quality, and budget requirements and constraints and set KPIs
  • Coordinate, delegate, and monitor project tasks
  • Manage all stakeholders (clients, team, management) across business and technical areas
  • Collaborate with other project teams, software developers, technical team leads, and the management
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation
  • Participate in defining and optimizing processes while also sharing best practices
  • Bring an infectious, positive, can-do attitude and a relentless aspiration for improvement
  • Lead and mentor the team
  • Conduct acceptance criteria testing to ensure user-story completeness and high-quality
  • Be an active participant in all scrum events and ceremonies
  • Work closely with product management and senior management
  • (Eventually) Become a domain expert of the product
  • Participate in feature break-down and their acceptance criteria
  • Analyze and predict edge-case scenarios and plan test case scenarios for the acceptance criteria
  • Plan and Release to testing and demo environments
  • Follow the progress of work by testing the developed features and addressing issues
  • Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback
  • Keep track of industry trends and Agile/Scrum best practices

Requirements

  • A strong desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Communication skills: open and transparent communication, active listening, presentation skills
  • Leadership skills: strategic thinking, leading by example, planning, and organizing skills
  • 10+ years of experience in the finance or IT industry (software development)
  • Common sense to quickly establish the logical connection between different vital factors
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Excellent English
  • BSc in business administration or Finance or similar field
  • Experience in a business/accounting industry, or any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training
  • In-depth understanding of industry market conditions and trends
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills as well as attention to details
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative and innovative thinker
  • Any previous experience in IT project management is a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile principles and processes is a plus

The following skills would be nice to have but are not formal requirements:

  • Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile tools (e.g. JIRA)
  • PMP (Project Manager Professional) certificate or equivalent
  • Experience with the implementation lifecycle of finance or other IT solutions
