Moderators

Smash Soda has an easy way of granting admin permissions to users in your lobby that you trust. You can give a user the moderator role by using the command !mod.

!mod MickeyUK

You can revoke moderator permissions with the !unmod command.

!unmod MickeyUK

Be careful who you make a moderator. Moderators can help keep good vibes in a lobby, and deal with troublesome guests if you're absent...but a bad mod can also give you a lot of grief!

Moderators have access to the following Admin commands.

VIP

You can mark the regulars you trust as VIPs. This allows them to join your room even when it's full, providing they try to join twice through a Parsec share link. When they try to join the first time, your room will automatically make an extra spot, allowing them to enter on a second attempt.

VIPs can also use the !bb command.

You can make someone a VIP with the !vip command:

!vip MickeyUK

You can revoke VIP permissions with the !unvip command.

!unvip MickeyUK
