Introduction
The dead air box is really easy to use and aims to reduce the amount of DNA contamination of environmental sources (sneezing, floating in the air) that can enter your sample. You should use the dead air box when setting up PCR or ethanol precipitations, ect. You are NOT to use the dead air box when doing DNA extractions, the raw quantity of DNA you'd be introducing into the system is too much.
