Smartphones

Added in 1.0.0 (The Technology Update), Smartphones provide players with a means of communicating with other players on the Mesabrook server. The Smartphone was added in order to compliment the new ranged chat functionality added by the Fall 2021 Update, allowing players to communicate from any distance as long as they're in range of a cell tower.
Signal Quality
Just like in real life, smartphones require a cellular connection and adequate reception in order to make and receive calls without issue. While these phones do not provide proper voice communications, they do require a good signal in order to send chat messages to the people in your call.
The worse your phone's reception gets, the more unreadable the messages you send and receive will become.

As of version 1.0.0, Immersibrook smartphones have the following applications:
- Phone App
- Address Book App
- Settings App
- Calculator App
- Support App
- Sound Player App
There are currently no plans to add an App Store or let users submit their own apps.
- Phone App: Lets users make and receive phone calls.
- Address Book App: Lets users store contacts as well as access a server-wide phone book.
- Settings App: Lets users make changes to their phone's settings.
- Calculator App: Lets users do basic math.
- Support App: When clicked, the player's default web browser will open and load this wiki.
- Sound Player App: Lets users play various sounds from Immersibrook, Minecraft, and other other installed mod.
