The Crossbow is a silent projectile weapon fixed with a scope developed at the Black Mesa Research Facility. Its primary mode fires a bolt, while the secondary mode zooms in with the scope. Unlike most weapons, it can be fired underwater. Its ammo consists of five feathered bolts in a magazine. These are fed one at a time into the firing mechanism, which utilizes a high-tension wire to launch the bolt.
