In order to sign you have to type " ~ ~ ~ ~" (without spaces). This will automatically enter your sign only if you are logged in. If you are not, please, leave at least your Meneame user name. Sign only here and in the Bugs page. It is not necessary to sign in the rest of the wiki. Bugs must be persistent (repetitive) and you must be able to reproduce them on other machines.

- When trying to do any type of internationalization (for any of the languages), it does not seem to work for strings that contain accented characters or other latin non-standard ones. System - Debian stable (sarge).
- the bug seems to be in Debian gettext 0.14.4. Gettext 0.14.6 does not seem to have this problem. Took a while to find - maybe will be of help to someone...
- I got a similar problem, try to desactivate the hash function when generating the .mo file:>> msgfmt --no-hash --output-file=meneame.mo meneame.po

Trackback bug! If trackback is enabled on some blog, the meneame story won't show up in the trackback list of that blog post! For example, http://meneame.net/story/yahoo-mail-beta-abierto-publico is linking to http://www.techcrunch.com/2006/09/14/yahoo-mail-beta-to-open-to-the-public/ , but meneame is not in the list of trackbacks! I have the same problem with my own meneame site and I know why it does not work. It's because meneame is using mod rewrite tool for the url. If the urls on meneame would be like http://meneame.net/story.php?id=23 then trackback would work, but because it is now like http://meneame.net/story/title-name, it doesn't work, so I guess that Gallir will have to fix this in the php code, so I hope you see this and reply to my message.. thanks. ~ Laurentvw
