Mod Compability - Mellohi138/InfectedQualities GitHub Wiki
The mod was designed with other mods in mind, and manual compability was added when it was needed to. But there might still be incompabilities. Unless outright stated, all mods in the list should be compatible. This list is just for potential issues that could arise, and also for the manually added compabilities with other mods.
CURRENT ISSUES
Calamity
- Astral infection worldgen doesn't replace infected snows with astral snow, creating a weird overlap.
- Infected jungle fooliage is broken, plants and vines are just gone, so the biomes might end up feeling a bit empty.
Thorium
- Thorium adds it own gemstones to the game in the form of opal and aquamarine, those are untouched by the infected gemstones feature. While this is technincally not an issue, you still will not find your opal or aquamarine converted in the end.
Confection Rebaked
- Conversions between this mods' moss blocks and Confections' moss blocks don't work properly.
Spirit Mod
- Spirit biome doesn't replace infected snow blocks, resulting in an overlap between the spirit biome and whatever biome it generated over.
- Infected moss and gemstone blocks also do not get replaced.
Remnants
- Remnants' Hallow generation avoids jungle grass blocks, this means the Hallowed Jungle cannot generate upon defeating the WoF.
Pylons Prevent Evils
- You can make corrupt and crimson snow get purified in the config with no issues, but the hallowed snow gets purified by the hallow pylon.
- Hallowed jungle grass cannot be added in the config file.
Alternatives Library
- The way the mod uses to generate it's hardmode has clashes with this mod, in the sense that the corruption and hallow tiles of Infected Qualities would spawn in when it shouldn't have. I tried my best to resolve this issue.
TWAILA
- Hallowed trees(both snow and jungle) look off when viewed through the mod.
- Infected Mosses and gemstones aren't viewed properly.
MANUALLY ADDED COMPABILITY
Calamity
- Biome sight potion highlights astral walls if the config for it is enabled
- You can use Calamity pylons to craft a pylon of night.
- Calamity adds its own vertebrae to leather recipe, thus this mods vertebrae to leather recipe won't be added when Calamity is installed.
Thorium
- Thorium adds its own vertebrae to leather recipe, thus this mods vertebrae to leather recipe won't be added when Thorium is installed.
Confection Rebaked
- Biome sight potion highlights confection walls, if the config is enabled.
- Experimental demon altar spawning feature gives all altars a 33% chance to spawn in creamstone if confection was chosen instead of hallow.
Spirit Mod
- You can use the spirit mod pylons to craft a pylon of night.
Remnants
- Due to the way Remnants generates it's corruption and crimson, the experimental feature that clears chasms at the start of hardmode is disabled.
Exxo Avalon Origins
- Biome sight potion highlights contagion walls, if the config is enabled.
- Experimental feature that clears chasms at the start of hardmode also clears the contagion chasms.
- Pylon of Night works in the contagion.
- Experimental demon altar spawning feature gives icky altars a 33% chance to spawn in chunkstone.
Terraria Origins
- Biome sight potion highlights defiled and riven walls, if the config is enabled.
- Experimental feature that clears chasms at the start of hardmode also clears the defiled wasteland and riven chasms.
- Pylon of Night works in the defiled wastelands and riven hive.
- Experimental demon altar spawning feature gives riven and defiled altars a 33% chance to spawn in riven flesh and defiled stone respectively.
