Introduction
Welcome to the MeCO-AUV Wiki! As the successor to LoCO, MeCO builds upon its predecessor's capabilities and offers enhanced features. Here, you'll find essential information about MeCO's capabilities, licensing, assembly instructions, configuration instructions, and an operations manual. We recommend reading in order first, then returning to specific sections as needed.
Please note that, as outlined in the License information, MeCO is an open-source project. We plan to release updates and improvements to MeCO over time, and we encourage the community to submit their enhancements and additions. We aim to create a supportive environment for those looking for assistance with MeCO. However, please be aware that we cannot provide commercial-level support for MeCO. Given the nature of the project, we cannot guarantee help or support for individuals who choose to build their own MeCO, although we strive to foster a mutually beneficial and collaborative community around the robot. Thank you for your understanding.
As MeCO builds upon the foundation laid by LoCO, we invite you to explore the new features and capabilities that MeCO offers. From improved hardware specifications to advanced software packages, MeCO represents a significant step forward in the development of open-source autonomous underwater vehicles.
Getting Started
Assembly Instructions
The construction of the physical components of MeCO is somewhat non-ordered. You can do things in whatever order you want for the most part, though some things will depend on others.
