GeneralFeatures - McTalian-WoW-Addons/RPGLootFeed GitHub Wiki
This page contains summary information about the general features of RPGLootFeed that are not specific to any one loot feed type. For more information about the various loot feeds, please visit the Loot Feeds page.
Minimap Icon
The minimap icon can be enabled to allow quick access to the addon options and other features. Once enabled, you can drag the icon around the minimap to place it where you want.
Left-clicking on the the icon will open the options menu. Right-clicking provides a menu with a few quick actions including clearing the feed, showing the loot history (if enabled), and showing addon notifications.
Loot History
While there is a Loot History feature in RPGLootFeed, having a chat tab for loot can be enough for some players. If you prefer to see the loot history in the RPGLootFeed style, though, you can enable the Loot History feature in the settings. Once enabled, you can specify the number of rows of history to store.
When Loot History is enabled, by default a "spellbook" icon will be visible to the bottom left of each frame's feed and clicking on it will toggle history mode. You can disable this "tab" in the settings if you prefer to not have it visible, but then you can only show history by using the minimap icon (if enabled) or the command /rlf history.
Item/Currency Tooltips
You can enable showing tooltips when hovering over item or currency rows in the feed. Once enabled, you can also choose to only show when holding the SHIFT key.
Mouse Interactions
The feed's mouse interaction behavior can be configured in the General > Interactions section of the options panel.
- Disable Mouse Interactions In Combat: When enabled, all loot feed rows become fully click-through during combat. This prevents the feed from intercepting mouse clicks that would otherwise interfere with camera rotation, targeting, or other gameplay inputs. Rows are automatically made interactive again once combat ends. This setting is enabled by default.
Secondary Row Text
Secondary row text can be enabled from the Miscellaneous section of the Features tab of the settings. It is also available in Styling settings. For more information on Secondary row text, please see the Terminology section of the Home page.
