Setting Bans And Finite Mining Settings - MaynardMiner/SWARM GitHub Wiki
Setting Bans / Finite Mining
Swarm has its own ban system, to remove miners that don't seem to work well. However, if you wish to fine-tune SWARM to mine under certain circumstance, there are two major ways to do so:
As Argument
-Bans x16r:z-enemy-1,gminer-1,x22i:nlpool,grincuckatoo31:NVIDIA3,veil
This will do the following:
- Ban x16r on z-enemy-1
- Ban the miner gminer-1
- Ban x22i from nlpool
- Ban grincuckatoo31 from NVIDIA3 device group
- Ban veil altogether.
Using as arguments means it is temporary, if you remove the arguments the bans are gone.
Using A Command (Works Remotely)
As Command:
bans add x16r:z-enemy-1,gminer-1,x22i:nlpool
This will permanently ban those items. Meaning it will transfer on updates, and require them to be removed.
bans remove x16r:z-enemy-1,gminer-1,x22i:nlpool
Mining A Finite Set of Coins/Algorithms
SWARM has the ability to select only a few coins / algorithms to mine with. This is done by utilizing the -Coin
and -Algorithm
parameters in conjunction with the -Auto_Coin
and -Auto_Algo
parameters.
-Coin RVN,VEIL,GIN,XZC -Algorithm x16r,VEIL,x16rt,mtp -Auto_Coin Yes -Auto_Algo No
Will mine only those coins on pools that support coinpools.
-Coin RVN,VEIL,GIN,XZC -Algorithm x16r,VEIL,x16rt,mtp -Auto_Coin Yes -Auto_Algo Yes
Will mine those coins on coinpools, and will mine algorithms on algopools
