This page has example control flow diagrams with descriptions of what they mean.

Example of a section with some title and inside it some subsection entities:

Simple control flow. Circles signify start/stop states, triangles acts as conditionals. A right pointing arrow points to the statement that will execute when the conditional evaluates to true whereas a downward pointing arrow points to the statement that will execute when the conditional evaluates to false. Also note that when it makes sense, block diagrams are contained within sections, as shown below.
