Labels for issues are grouped by their prefix. Here we describe the intended purpose for each prefix.

Topic

Each issue can have one or more topic labels.

Please add new labels (with description!), if a suitable topic label for your issue does not yet exist.

Type

type labels specify the level of "urgency" and the level of discussion required.

Every issue should be assigned with a type label.

Status

status labels describe the state of the discussion, where needed.

Events

Reference issues discussed during one of the official OPTiMaDe events.

Misc

Other labels (defined by GitHub), such as duplicate, wontfix, ...
