Version 10

  1. Login to Grafana and click on the "+" button in the Top menu panel, then select "New Dashboard".

  2. Click on the "+ Add Visualization" button in the center of the page.

  3. In the "Select data sources" section, select "--Grafana--" as data source

  4. Select a Random Walk as query

  5. In the "Visualization" tab, select the visualization type you want to use for the panel.

  6. In the "Panel" tab, you can customize the settings for the panel, such as title, units, and thresholds.

  7. To add relative time to the dashboard, click on the "Time range" tab and select the "Relative" option.

  8. Enter the relative time range you want to use, such as "now-1h" for the past hour or "now-24h" for the past 24 hours.

  9. To add timeshift to the dashboard, click on the "Query Options" tab.

  10. Enter the timeshift value you want to use, such as "1h" or "24h".

  11. Click on the "Save" button to save the dashboard.

You have now created a dashboard with relative time and timeshift. You can add more panels to the dashboard and customize it further to meet your needs.

Version 9

  1. Open Grafana and go to the Home page.

  2. Click on the "Create dashboard" button.

  3. On the "New dashboard" page, click on the "Add query" button to add a panel to the dashboard.

  4. Select a Random Walk or Test Data that you have previously configured in Grafana.

  5. In the "Visualization" tab, select the visualization type you want to use for the panel.

  6. In the "Panel" tab, you can customize the settings for the panel, such as title, units, and thresholds.

  7. To add relative time to the dashboard, click on the "Time range" tab and select the "Relative" option.

  8. Enter the relative time range you want to use, such as "now-1h" for the past hour or "now-24h" for the past 24 hours.

  9. To add timeshift to the dashboard, click on the "Query Options" tab.

  10. Enter the timeshift value you want to use, such as "1h" or "24h".

  11. Click on the "Save" button to save the dashboard.

You have now created a dashboard with relative time and timeshift. You can add more panels to the dashboard and customize it further to meet your needs.
