Problem
People that work in tech: software-engineers, web-developers, game-developers have the stereotype of being socially awkward. When people are socially awkward or have social anxiety, a job like a programmer is according to sites like tradeSchools.net and socialAnxietyShortcuts.com a good option.
tradeSchools.com claims:
A lot of social anxiety sufferers turn to this career sector for good-paying jobs that can often be performed alone, or at least with limited interactions with others. But as they gain professional experience and grow their technological expertise, many of them also end up developing more confidence in their ability to handle a variety of social situations. When I have trouble connecting with people that I don't know, I want to be able to get to know someone I am interested in, in an effortless and painless manner, So I can start that first awkward conversation more easily.
Solution
A dating app feature for getting to know people more easily.
When you see someone you want to connect with, you can send an ice-breaker. This is a series of image-pairs. You select the image, you like the most. When you completed the series, it will be sent to the other person. So, for example, you see two images, one of someone staying inside, watching a movie and an image of someone at a party. You click on the movie image and if the other does as well, you will see the result. Now you have an easier way of starting the conversation because you both prefer to stay inside and watch a movie.
