The smoke detector is a device that can be placed on the ceiling. It will emit a redstone signal when it detects smoke.

The smoke detector has 3 different states:

• Green: The smoke detector is calibrated and does not detect any smoke.
• Orange: The smoke detector is not calibrated and does not detect any smoke.
• Red: The smoke detector is calibrated and detects smoke.

If you place the smoke detector on the ceiling, it needs some time to calibrate itself. During this time, the smoke detector will not detect any smoke and will flash orange.

If the smoke detector detects smoke, it will flash red, emit a piep and a redstone signal. This signal will be turned off when the smoke detector does not detect smoke anymore.

There is a silent smoke detector available. It will not emit any sound when it detects smoke.

The fire sprinkler is a device that can be placed on the ceiling and activated by redstone signal. It will extinguish fires in a specific radius and shows a water particle effect.
