Tom Barham - MarkTime/MarkTimeJS GitHub Wiki
Howdy, I'm Tom!
I write cool things for the interwebs in HTML, CSS/LESS/SCSS, Javascript/TypeScript, NodeJS and PHP. This page is about me(!) and also my involvement in MarkTime.
About Me
I've been programming for a long time (possibly since I was 9.. I'm not entirely sure... Probably earlier). The very first language that I learnt was VisualBasic.NET (D:), but since then I have went on to learn C#, and then web development languages.
Nowadays I like to make fancy frontends and breathtaking backends (well, I don't know about breathtaking, but still...). I know most of my way around the web development stack, as I have worked on quite a few large projects on my own. While I enjoy designing websites, I prefer to write backend things in PHP (not any more!) and Javascript.
Recently I have started getting more into NodeJS, and have been using SailsJS with AngularJS, specifically working on ways to bind Sails models with client-side Javascript and Angular.
Oh yeah, I also have a website (which I write/put projects on occasionally).
My Involvement in MarkTime
Let's just say, I write a large portion of the Javascript client-backend (the backend that runs on the client).
Acknowledgments
I would love to thank John for allowing me to join the team for this project, as well as providing bugfixing and a template for this page.
I would also (as John also happened to say) like to thank God for giving me the gifts that allow me to work on this project, as well as the rest of the MarkTimeJS team.
