  • what to do with PHP 8 support ? There's no SWIG version currently ready for it (see https://github.com/MapServer/MapServer/issues/6433#issuecomment-981114841). Should we release 8.0 and mention that PHP 8 support isn't available for now until SWIG is fixed ?
    • answer from jeff: the fix was applied this morning, and I am testing it now with PHP 8.1.0 & MS4W 5.0-alpha.
