BGAS Switch Stand Orientation - MagnumMacKivler/trakpak3 GitHub Wiki
As Trakpak3 switch stands feature animated connecting rods, targets, and levers, it becomes important to pick and place the right switch stand for the job. Orientation, such as left-handedness or right-handedness, and the throw direction matter!
Hand-Throw Switch Stands
All hand-throw switch stand models are assumed to be right-handed relative to the facing direction of the switch. To put a stand on the left hand side, the direction must be inverted. As always, check the chevron in Hammer to determine which way the train will go when thrown in the REVERSE direction.

Switch Machines
For switch machines, lefthand and righthand orientation matters, because the connecting rods need to be closer to the trailing end than the detecting & locking rods. However, this makes selecting switch stands much more intuitive. Just as before, look for the chevrons!
