The LS-750 (or specification A-3149, as sold) was Lima-Hamilton's offering for a lower-power variant of their LS-1000 locomotive. The unit featured a six-cylinder turbocharged prime mover, with Westinghouse electrical gear; typical of medium-speed diesel engines of the era, the locomotives were famous for smoking under load. Sales were pitiful; only six of the type were produced, and only to a single railroad. The locomotive's drivetrain is functionally identical to the later LS-800, which simply features higher fuel rack settings and a shorter frame. One survives as Whitewater Valley #25.
