The LRS-800 (offered under designation A-3173) was an 800 horsepower roadswitcher listed by Lima-Hamilton. The only other catalogued road switcher to not be two switchers in a trenchcoat (apart from the LRS-1200), no railroads took Lima up on the offer. It was to be offered with a steam generator, the same model as the LRS-1200. None were built; it was likely added to add meat to the roster in the early days of Lima's diesel ventures.
