The ES44AH sub-variant is based off of the ES44AC, and was solely ordered by CSX in 2007. They feature GE's HTE adhesion-management software in order to increase its tractive effort, which increased their tractive effort from 30,000 lbf to 33,000 lbf. All ES44AH's are ballasted to 432,000 pounds, have air nozzles in front the 4 corners of the locomotive trucks to increase a cleaner rail surface to grip, and use the self steering truck (radial steering) truck design.

Notes

⚠: Not Verified or Educated Guess

(1) GE lists the GEVO-12's HP for traction at 4365 as of 2016, earlier manuals list it at 4390. Other sources describe the ES44AH's HP ratings as 4445 for traction and 4178 at the rail.

(2) Could be ordered with GE's High Adhesion truck.

(3) Current listings are an approximation of the AC4400CW's GMG192 alternator. The Evolution series uses the 5GMG206A alternator instead.

(4) AC electrical gear is three-phase. Values shown here is for a single phase; the value used by RLC PT2 should be 3 times the value shown.

(5) The ES44AH uses 5GEB132B traction motors, which are a modified version of the AC4400CW's 5GEB13 traciton motors. I still couldn't find any information on them. Listed ratings are for the GE 5GEB22, which is similar.

(6) The GEVO-12 only runs at 1050 RPM under load and below 20 MPH, for normal operation CFM is rated at 205.965 @ 995 RPM.
