Kaho:
So you’ve decided to upload your practice sessions, Sayaka-chan?

Sayaka:
Yes… I am still somewhat embarrassed about it, though… I have a feeling it’ll be easier than performing in front of other people, at least… I’ll do my best to perform while Yugiri-senpai’s watching me.

Kaho:
Huh… Wait, why are we being taught separately? Wouldn’t it be better if Kozue-senpai and Tsuzuri-senpai taught us together?

Sayaka:
They told me it’s because of “tradition.”

Kaho:
Tradition?

Sayaka:
Yes. Throughout the history of Hasunosora’s School Idol Club, members have been separated into subunits, and through friendly competition, each subunit’s members can improve together.

Kaho:
I had no idea! Then does that mean we can’t perform together!?

Sayaka:
I wonder. That may be the case, though.

Kaho:
Aw… I was really looking forward to being school idols together with you, Sayaka-chan…

Sayaka:
To me… I think as long as we’re walking along the same path, we’re still together. I wonder what kind of performance you’ll show everyone next, having improved under a different experienced club member. Even the thought of it is exciting.

Kaho:
…Sayaka-chan…

Sayaka:
I had so much fun at you and Otomune-senpai’s performance.

Kaho:
You’re right! Nicely put, Sayaka-chan!

Sayaka:
Oh, I’m sorry. I think… I might have said something a little embarrassing…

Kaho:
No, not at all! All right! In that case, I’m gonna make sure you have tons of fun, Sayaka-chan!

Sayaka:
Then I, too, will work hard to ensure you’ll continue having fun, Kaho-san.

Kaho:
It’s an infinite loop of happiness!

Kaho:
Alright, that’s it for today’s video! Sayaka-chan is so cool, right everyone? We hope you’ll continue supporting the Hasunosora School Idol Club!

Sayaka:
You were recording all that!?

Kaho:
I thought I’d be more nervous livestreaming my performances… But, being able to perform for more people is really exciting…

Kaho:
And Kozue-senpai said I might even be really good at this… ehehe…

Kaho:
My feelings are reaching out to everyone, little by little… I’m so glad I became a school idol…

Kaho:
Is Mom calling again? Yes, hello…

Futaba:
Oh, hi, Sis!

Kaho:
Oh, Futaba? What’s up?

Futaba:
Well… I just wanted to hear your voice, Sis.

Minori:
Minori’s here too!

Kaho:
Have you two been behaving while I’ve been gone? Have you been helping out around the house?

Futaba:
We have! I’ve been cleaning the bathtub every day!

Minori:
I’ve made sure to take care of the flowers.

Kaho:
Oh, very good!

Kaho:
So you’ve been doing a lot, huh? I see, I see~.

Futaba:
Of course we have! I-I was just thinking you must really miss us, Sis! That’s why we called!

Kaho:
Thanks, Futaba, Minori. Your sister’s actually started something new! I’ve gotten to wear cute outfits, and sing, and dance!

Futaba:
Sis, that’s just like–!

Minori:
That’s just like a school idol.

Kaho:
Oh, you two know about them? That’s right, I became a school idol!

Futaba:
You!?

Minori:
That’s so cool, Sis…

Kaho:
Ehehe…

Minori:
Hey, Sis… To be honest, since you’ve been gone, I’ve missed you.

Kaho:
Minori…

Minori:
But, it sounds like you’re having fun, so I’m happy for you. You too, right, Futaba?

Futaba:
Y-yeah… It was really surprising to hear you became a school idol, but I think it suits you!

Kaho:
Ahaha, you think so?

Futaba:
Is there a way I can watch you perform?

Minori:
Me too, I wanna watch.

Kaho:
Oh, right, so there’s this app called School Idol Connect...

Kaho:
…Futaba, Minori. Sis will blossom so big that you’ll be able to see it all the way in Nagano, okay?

Kozue:
Hm…

Tsuzuri:
Yo, Kozu. You said you wanted to talk?

Kozue:

Tsuzuri:
You usually look troubled whenever you open that.

Kozue:
… Hey, Tsuzuri. Could you perform this song’s dance for me?

Tsuzuri:
Sure. I got it.

Kozue:
Well done. There are very few people in the country that can dance that well. You haven’t even practiced the choreography for this song at all, either.

Tsuzuri:
I’ve seen the dance a lot, though.

Kozue:
Your ability to remember that dance despite having only seen it is only further proof of your skill. It’s a little infuriating how good you are at this.

Tsuzuri:
That doesn’t feel like a compliment.

Kozue:
To be honest, I’m not sure how I should be training Hinoshita-san.

Tsuzuri:
I see.

Kozue:
You’ve seen her perform, haven’t you?

Tsuzuri:
She’s very good. It seems like she’s having fun.

Kozue:
I understand that. But that’s the problem.

Tsuzuri:
Kozu?

Kozue:
…Ah, I can’t take it.

Kozue:
Hinoshita-san’s just started out as a school idol, and she’s already started performing live, not to mention that she’s already started making content on the app. She says it’s because she’s having fun, but is it really okay for her to be doing so much so soon…!?

Tsuzuri:
Um…

Kozue:
So, Tsuzuri! You’ve been training Murano-san, right? And even now, you’re still building a solid base of fundamentals for her, right!?

Tsuzuri:
Y-yeah.

Kozue:
I’m that type of learner, so I get that! I prefer deciding on one goal, and from there, making small steps to progress toward it! And when I’m satisfied that I’ve achieved that goal, I can look back and see how long the path was to get there and feel reassured…!

Kozue:
But then there are people like you who can just naturally do anything well, right!? If Hinoshita-san’s like you, and I try to teach her the way I prefer to learn, wouldn’t that just ruin what makes her so special!?

Tsuzuri:
Well…

Kozue:
It’s just…

Kozue:
I feel so… uncertain… With things the way they are, all I can do is watch…

Kozue:
I don’t know what I should do…

Tsuzuri:
Have you tried asking her? Like, what she wants.

Kozue:
…About that.

Kozue:
I thought it would just be as simple as that… But no, that won’t work.

Tsuzuri:
Why?

Kozue:
I might be overthinking it, but… If she knew that I’m concerned, it might put a damper on her fun…

Kozue:
You know how she really took a liking to performing during our first live show together, to the point where she decided to perform for a full week. I’m sure she still has so much potential, and I wonder how much of it she’ll realize. Ensuring she reaches that potential is part of my responsibility, so I have to take this seriously.

Tsuzuri:
…You’re a good role model, Kozu.

Kozue:
Because of that, I haven’t been able to do anything, though!

Tsuzuri:
Hmhm. But isn’t that just fine?

Kozue:
Come on, Tsuzuri. I’m being serious…

Tsuzuri:
It’s not like you’ve just been standing here doing nothing. You’ve been thinking of Kaho. Isn’t that a good thing? When she needs it, you’ll be there to help her right away.

Kozue:
I guess, but I mean…

Tsuzuri:
This is just a thought, but…

Tsuzuri:
I think that people that are fully engaged in something tend to tune out anything outside it. So, even if you tell her something now, it won’t matter to her… I think?

Kozue:
That’s strangely persuasive, coming from you.

Tsuzuri:
Is it? I wonder when I became so persuasive, then. Maybe when I became a second-year?

Sayaka:
Excuse me! I would appreciate your guidance today as well!

Tsuzuri:
Oh, okay.

Kozue:
Good afternoon, Murano-san.

Kozue:
How are you, Murano-san? Have you been communicating well with Tsuzuri?

Sayaka:
Huh? I-I think it’s been going well…? Why are you asking this all of a sudden?

Kozue:
N-no reason. You just came up in my conversation with Tsuzuri. Feel free to talk to me anytime there’s anything you have in mind about her.

Tsuzuri:
Good idea.

Sayaka:
You’re agreeing with her, Senpai!? It’s alright, there’s nothing in particular that comes to mind! Right now, anyway.

Tsuzuri:
Right now…?

Sayaka:
Oh, no, I’m sorry! That just slipped out… Um, right, practice! Let’s go do some practice!

Tsuzuri:
Okay.

Tsuzuri:
Don’t stress yourself, okay, Kozu? We might be their seniors, but it’s only our first year in that role.

Kozue:
…I never thought I’d see the day where I would seek your advice. Thank you, Tsuzuri.

Tsuzuri:
Yeah.

Kozue:
…I guess she’s right. What’s most important is that she continues having fun… …But what can I do…?
