With the Love Live! Hokuriku qualifier on the horizon, our six protagonists find themselves getting more motivated for the competition. However, when talks of an Internet ban within the school premises starting next year arise…
If we’re going to perform something that would not be feasible in-venue via livestream, what would that be?
Hm… Stuff like the location, I guess.
I see. I do think that it would feel very nice if we held our performance here on school grounds.
We could bury our legs in a bunch of snow and express ourselves using only the parts of ourselves that can move. Yeah, you couldn’t do that at the venue.
We can’t do that here either! Why would we even do that anyway!?
And then there’d be a big explosion, and all the snow would turn into water and shower down everywhere. For a single moment, the stage would be transformed into a blaze, and–
That’d be way too dangerous! We couldn’t do that!
I think there are actually some good points to streaming on SIC.
Like…?
I mean, look, we can get way more viewers than if we were just stuck in the venue, right? There are Megu soldiers all around the world, you know!
And getting all those people to cheer us on in real time… that’d be really hype, wouldn’t it!
True…. Bringing the box house over to the waiting room in the venue would be really hard, but if we stream our performance, then I could be recharging even at the last minute!
Yeah! That’s a totally pessimistic positive approach!

Um, uh, I wasn’t trying to skip out on practice or something…
Hmhmhm. It seems like you’ve developed quite the following yourself. You’ve been livestreaming fairly frequently, after all.
Y-Yeah! That’s right! There are so many people cheering me on…
But if this Internet ban ends up going through, I was thinking… I wouldn’t be able to talk to any of them anymore.
…Unfortunately so.
So while I was coming up with the idea that we’d be streaming our performance for the Hokuriku qualifier, it got me thinking again…
I don’t think I’ve really grasped what an Internet ban would mean until now.
It’d really suck not being able to use SIC anymore! I mean, I still feel that way, but also…
While I was watching these old videos, I was thinking to myself.
Thanks to SIC, even back when I was a sprout finding her footing in a new club…
There’ve been so many people watching over me all this time.
I wasn’t very good at singing or dancing, and I still wasn’t great at talking either, but I still received so many comments of support…
So if I couldn’t use SIC anymore, then that’d mean all those connections with those fans might end up vanishing, wouldn’t it?
…In all likelihood, yes.
And so we can’t let that happen.
We need to work hard to protect this important place for us. I’m sure everyone else feels the same way.
School idols aren’t alone.
Thanks to all the people rooting for us, I can be proud when I say that I’m a school idol.
That I’ve become one of those school idols I loved so much.
I agree… I was very bad at livestreaming at first, but everyone would always treat me kindly.
I feel extremely happy when I can show the people watching us all the effort I’ve put in.
I know you said this earlier, but you were so right when you said that we had soldiers from all over the world.
I mean, if it weren’t for SIC, I wouldn’t have gotten to know everyone.
All of this fun I’ve had with everyone… if it weren’t for these streams, I wouldn’t have gotten to have it.
They’re kinda like my own personal cheerleaders. They always send me their energy, and I always end up motivating myself by thinking that I need to do my best for everyone watching me.
Honestly, the only reason I’m still doing all this stuff here at Hasunosora is because of SIC. So there’s no way I’m gonna let them take this link I have with everyone!
