Setting a Link Password

Unlike past Love Live! games, data transfer in Link! Like! Love Live! can only be done (currently) through the LinkLikeID system (the equivalent of an ID + passcode in past games). Follow these steps to make yours!

From the home screen, open the trigram/hamburger button screen and click the bottom right button. This will open a folder containing four buttons. Clicking the bottom right button here will take you to the menu.

From here, click on the top left button. You will be prompted to select which service to register a password for, but as of now the only option is LinkLikeID.

Upon selecting it, you will be shown a screen with information. Click proceed and you will begin making your password.

Performing Data Transfer

Multiple devices can be logged in to the same account. However, they cannot access the same account at the same time.

To transfer your game data to a new device, tap on the login screen as if you were going to make a new account. You will be shown this prompt. Select Login and choose which service to use for data transfer (LinkLikeID).

Enter your previously registered LinkLikeID and Link Password.

If you've entered it correctly, you will be shown a screen with the game data associated with the account.

Once you've confirmed that is your account, your login is complete!

Some settings will not transfer into the new device, and you will have to set them manually again. For example, the home screen wallpaper you've had previously will be reset to the original wallpaper.
