Frequently Asked Questions - MagiCircles/BanGDream GitHub Wiki
WIP.
Before reading, here is a list of items in the game. Familiarize yourself with these items so you understand the basic elements of the game.
What are these attributes? What do they mean?
- Attributes are a trait given to cards. With this attribute, they are able to be enhanced by certain attribute-specific equipment. A common feature rhythm games have is that they have attributes that correspond with songs. That is not the case in Bandori, however having the same attribute in your team may help boost your team score. They also are able to give boosts in attribute-specific events! Learn more about optimizing attributes here
Can I connect my account to my Game Center/Google Play account?
- You can connect your account to Game Center or Google Play, but it is purely for achievements. If you want to safely secure your account, you need to use transfer codes. If you link your account and then delete the game, you will lose the account. Reinstalling the app will take you to a completely new account, instead of logging back into your account, even if you have it linked to your Game Center/Google Play account.
What is the best way to play Bandori?
- The best way to play Bandori is however you want to! If you like just occasionally playing a song or two, then go do that! However, if you prefer to top 10 every event, or to collect every card in the game, that's fine too. It also doesn't matter if you play with your thumbs, your fingers, or even if you play with your toes. As long as you're hitting the notes and playing well, it works. The best way to play is YOUR way to play!
How do I get Miracle Crystals/Pink Teardrop looking thing?
- These are obtainable via rare drops by playing in lives. Additionally, they can be bought from the badge exchange shop for events, earned via event points, or exchanged in the Michelle seal shop (HIGHLY not recommended).
I keep pulling in gachas, but I never get any good cards. Why?
- Just a stroke of bad luck. Don't worry, we've had our times of bad luck as well. Sorry this happened to you, but all you can do is just keep on scouting in hopes of a brand new 4 ⭐️ !
What are leaks? When do they come? Where can I see them?
- Leaks are information that we get prior to their release in-game. This can be for the next event, the next gacha cards, and even upcoming songs! For example, our dataminers typically know what the next cards are approximately 4 hours before the event starts. We make posts about said leaks on our Twitter. We don't have an exact time when they come - it varies with whatever CraftEgg does. You can find the full art, stats, skills, and more about each card leaks 30 minutes after they are leaked on our twitter by going to our Cards section.
Follow up questions: what are the next leaks/girls for the next gacha? What is the next event? What band is next? Is there any specific patterns to the gacha?
- We have no idea whatsoever who the next cards are, what the next event is, etc for JP. While Bandori follows an attribute pattern (Pure > Cool > Happy > Powerful), there are instances when they have switched up the norm. WW events will follow JP. To see what gacha and event are next, go to their respective pages on the site, and deselect the "Reverse Order" checkbox. This will sort the gacha and event list in chronological order, with the oldest events showing at the top, and newest events showing at the bottom of the page.
When will insert event/gacha name here come to WW?
- It will be a year & 1-2 weeks after the event has happened on JP. For example, our very first event started on March 24th, 2017 on JP. The same event started on April 5th, 2018 on EN.
What attribute and girls are rate up for the current event?
- To see what attribute and girls are rate up for the current event, either read the rules for the event OR check out the Event page on our wiki!
When do I get the event rewards?
- You can collect them approximately 14 hours after the event ends.
How can I get more star gems? Is there a difference between paid/unpaid star gems?
- There are many ways to get more star gems. The most common way to farm stars is by participating in events, daily log-ins, random special log-in bonuses, FC'ing songs on Hard AND Expert, and S and SS score.
- Paid stars and unpaid stars are similar, but paid stars can be used in paid-only gachas, as well as for daily 60 ⭐️ scouts! Additionally, when using stars, unpaid stars will be used first if you have both (except in paid-only gachas). Paid stars will only be used after unpaid stars have been depleted.
Why is there only a 2 day period of downtime between events?
- We don't know, it was an executive decision from CraftEgg. However, it is likely to keep the game lively, so that those who don't like playing without incentive don't have to wait for too long. We're just as tired as you guys are 😅
How do I increase my band power? How can I gain more event points per song? What is an area item thing, anyway?
- The most efficient way of increasing band power is to teambuild and use area items. This can be read more in-depth in this part of our wiki. By building your teams efficiently, you can score higher in songs. This will in turn lead to your gaining more event points per song.
I got a dupe of a card. What do I do with this?
- You can either use the dupe as skill experience in order to skill practice up a card, or turn them into Michelle stickers.
Can I sell cards I don't need/want?
- No. Fortunately, Bandori does not have a limit as to how many cards you can have in your member's box, so you don't need to worry about making space for new cards. Regardless of whether you like a card or not, it's stuck with you. CraftEgg just wants you to love all of the girls!
How can I unlock more songs?
- You can get more songs by purchasing them in CiRCLE using the Rainbow Teardrops, leveling up each band, and by simply waiting. Typically there are 1-2 new songs released per event. For those playing WW Bandori, please note that the song pool is quite diminished compared to the JP song pool!
