Being a good owner - MWall541/Dragon-Mounts-Legacy GitHub Wiki

This section tells you how to be a good owner and to not put your dragon into a corner and abandon it over an elytra...

Riding

Dragons are very capable of taking its owners great distances. Simply saddle them up and right click to start riding your pet.

Dragons must be tamed to YOU to be able to control them. You can ride someone else's dragon, but its no better than a llama at that point.

Not to mention, these lizards have wings. And they know how to use them. When I said great distances, this is how they do it. You can tell your dragon to begin flying with a liftoff (the press of your jump button.)

Flying

With the wings they were born with, dragons can soar the skies and travel great distances.
A mounted owner can control their flight and explore the lands with ease.

However, if your not a fan of going in the direction your looking, you can instead use different ways to control the flight of your dragon.

Being an overall good owner

If you and your dragon has gone on a treacherous journey together, battling the fiercest of beasts, it's probably taken a good number of hits during fights.
You can restore your dragons health by feeding it meats. A few steaks will bring it back up full of energy and back to potential.

And for the love of god, don't be neglectful. Take your dragon out for a fly every now and then. Leave the elytra behind. Why replace your protection with wings when you can have both, AND a best friend?
