Why this questions?
These questions help understand how students get information from the university and if they miss important events because of bad communication. They also explore how students meet others outside their program and if they find it easy or difficult. Some questions focus on teamwork and if students would like to work with people from different programs. Finally, the last questions ask if a platform could help students connect and what features they would like in it.

Students often miss important events because university emails contain too much spam and irrelevant information. | They feel frustrated and overwhelmed by the large number of emails, leading them to ignore or overlook useful notifications. | The current communication system does not prioritize relevant content, making it difficult for students to stay informed. | University students and the administration responsible for event communication. |
Students mainly meet others from different programs in interdisciplinary courses like CBUs and English. | They interact with peers from other disciplines only when required, but outside of these classes, connections are limited. | There are few structured opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration, making it difficult to naturally form connections. | Students from different faculties and the university’s academic planners. |
Students see value in a platform that connects them with others who share similar interests (both academic and extracurricular). | They feel that a tool with filtering options and personalized recommendations would help them find the right people. | Many students want to meet like-minded peers but don’t know where to start or don’t have an easy way to do so. | Students from various disciplines looking for academic, social, or professional connections. |
Students, especially first-years, struggle to build connections when they enter university. | They feel lost and wish they had a structured way to meet people with shared interests early on. | Having a network from the beginning of university life makes academic and social experiences more enriching. | First-year students and those transitioning to new academic environments. |
