Using an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) to Withdraw Money - MLKEREN/SOFTWARE-DOC-DEV-MIYA-KEREN GitHub Wiki
An automated teller machine, or ATM, is a specialized computer that makes it convenient to manage your funds as a bank account holder. Using an ATM, you can check your account balances, withdraw or deposit money and print a statement of account activities or transactions. Depending on the location of an ATM, you may be charged for withdrawing money.
You will need a credit or debit card to use an ATM.
- Insert your credit or debit card, facing up, into the slot.
- Using the keyboard, enter the four-digit PIN number associated with the card. When entering your PIN number, keep this information secure.
- If you have entered the correct PIN number, you will be rerouted to a screen with a list of services available.
- To withdraw money, select the 'withdraw cash' option. Different ATMs may word this service slightly differently.
- Enter the amount of cash you would like to withdraw.
- Confirm that you’re willing to pay the fee, if necessary.
- Remove your card. Only then retrieve the cash from the ATM's cash dispenser.
- Retrieve the receipt, if provided.
