What is an ATM?

An automated teller machine, or ATM, is a specialized computer that makes it convenient to manage your funds as a bank account holder. Using an ATM, you can check your account balances, withdraw or deposit money and print a statement of account activities or transactions. Depending on the location of an ATM, you may be charged for withdrawing money.

Before you Start!

You will need a credit or debit card to use an ATM.

How to Withdraw Money?

  1. Insert your credit or debit card, facing up, into the slot.

Inserting cardbest

  1. Using the keyboard, enter the four-digit PIN number associated with the card. When entering your PIN number, keep this information secure.

  1. If you have entered the correct PIN number, you will be rerouted to a screen with a list of services available.
  2. To withdraw money, select the 'withdraw cash' option. Different ATMs may word this service slightly differently.
  3. Enter the amount of cash you would like to withdraw.
  4. Confirm that you’re willing to pay the fee, if necessary.
  5. Remove your card. Only then retrieve the cash from the ATM's cash dispenser.

Removing cash

  1. Retrieve the receipt, if provided.
