3D modeling Building Blender - MKuneva/Projects GitHub Wiki
Iteration 1:
We were introduced to Blender, where we had to decide on a design for our project in the upcoming weeks. With this project, I learned Blender shortcuts. In the beginning, I struggled a lot because I had no prior experience with 3D modeling, making it challenging to navigate and work with the program. Initially, I followed a tutorial, replicating the actions I saw as it's the way I learn the fastest. After more than 15 hours, I already knew a lot of the shortcuts, making it easier to visualize and implement changes by myself.
After I made the base structure of my building, I asked for feedback and incorporated suggestions into my work. This iterative process significantly improved my understanding and proficiency in Blender.

Iteration 2:
After my first feeback I continued working and I added more details. After that I had my second feedback.

Iteration 3:
After my second feedback I added a small box on the top of my building, some lanterns and a ladder on the balcony. After that I asked for feedback again and I was advised to start coloring and using the materials.
Iteration 4:
This was my first rendering after the first round of coloring. I asked again for feedback and the teacher told me that my building needed more shading and more playing with the lights.
Iteration 5:
So this second render is the result after figuring out how lighting works. After that I asked for one last feedback and the teacher said that it already looks pretty finished but I can play with the angle of the camera so the floor is not that awkwardly put there and for a better effect I can add clouds and lower the camera angle. I was also playing with Photoshop a bit, because I wanted to try replacing the background with image of a sky with stars.
