💬 OVERVIEW
Eldenmoor is a dimension that players enter after defeating a witch. It's an alternate universe similar to the Overworld, but with unique features and biomes. This dimension has been a core element of the mod since the beginning, and there's still a lot planned for it. I've been working on these updates both on and off-camera.
⛰ BIOMES
Each biome in Eldenmoor is hand-crafted with custom blocks and designed with meticulous detail. Biomes play a crucial role in any dimension, and many are planned to mimic those of the Overworld. You can find a complete list of the added biomes on the Biome page.
⚙ MECHANICS
Eldenmoor has some advanced mechanics that make up the ecosystem of the entire world. Also, some of these features expand into the base game.
| Mechanics | Description |
|---|---|
| Plant Growth | Grass blocks grow tall grass and in some cases flowers above them naturally. |
| Seasons | Each world has season support which ties into temperature which can affect other mechanics. |
| Temperature | Each world has support for a vast temperature system that was released in 0.10.0-indev. Temperature has a total of seven modifiers that build up the temperature system in Tale of Biomes. |
| Wind | Wind has been added to each world which has wind direction, and wind speed, wind is also a modifier for temperature. |
