The flight controller is the 'brains' of the drone and is in charge of connecting all the attached sensors into one cohesive system. We chose the CubePilot Orange Cube.

The controller has an H7 processor with an ARM Cortex M7, with an ARM Cortex M3 failsafe processor. It has a triple redundant IMU, which gathers data from multiple sources in case one sensor fails. The controller can control various vehicles, including rovers and submarines; however, it is used here for its quadrotor capabilities. 20220906_141137
