5.1 Justification for the scores

Design 2(Shreeharsha) Objective Score alloted Justification
01 User-Friendly +16 As the cups are placed on required position, the crushing of cup takes place and easy to use.
02 Weight +6 As the weight of machine will be less as it does not contain heavy objects
03 Portability +3 As the machine is small in size and it is portable.
04 Cost +4 As the components in the machine are not expensive and affordable, hence it is cost-effective.
05 Automatic -6 As we have to manually place the cups that are to be crushed
Design 3(Adwait) Objective Score alloted Justification
01 User-Friendly 16 This process is easy to use just put the cups and let the machine run its conveyer belt which will finally crush it off
02 Weight -6 As the machine has some heavy components.
03 Portability -6 This has fragile and too many moving parts which contradict the fact of portability
04 Cost -4 The machine components are not easily installable and have to be used with high powered motors to crush multiple cups if the cup contains any of the liquids, the motors must be hydroponically covered
05 Automatic 06 It is automatic when we place the cup on the conveyer the machine automatically starts its process

01 User-Friendly 16 The process is very much simple and it is user-friendly.
02 Weight -6 this machine is comparatively weight.
03 Portability -3 Due to the absence of flat base it is difficult to transport.
04 Cost 4 The components in the machine are not expensive, hence it is cost-effective.
05 Automatic -12 there is no sensor to sense the cup and we have to switch on and off the machine.
