5.1 ESTABLISHING FUNCTIONS

Problem Definition Version 5.1:
Design an Bio mimic bot ( Walking bot) that is portable, user-friendly without damaging inner contents, and should not be noisy. The machine should work on an external battery and would able to give the power backup. The dimension of the machine should be within 0.5x1.0x0.5 feet and should not exceed the weight of 1.0kg. It has to work of an hour, walking at the speed of about one step per second. The machine has to be built within the budget of 4000. and the density of the machine should not exceed 1000. The machine should able to walk and it should behave with special features like detecting the obstacles from the surrounding. The bot also should do some dance. The bot should move in both directions.

7.1 Design 1

- The bot includes a servo motor for movement of the bot.
- Ultrasonic sensors are used to detecting obstacles.
- Buzzer is used to acknowledge users when obstacles are detected.
- Mainly Arduino is used, it can be programmed to control the way, motors, switches, lights, and other electronic parts.
- Arduino is connected with a 12v battery.
