Obtaining

This block can be found in the abyss under the level 64 where the abyssalite begins to generate. Ore distribution for coal is the same as in the overworld. This block requires silk touch to obtain, otherwise it will drop 1–2, 1–3, or 1–4 coal respectively with Fortune I, II, and III.
