Overview

The winding cavern belongs to the town of Nucharia, it has gone unused for at least a few decades as there was little trade for the metals the had access to, as well several monsters taking up residence in the cavern making it much too dangerous for the metals and gems inside.

Entrance

As you pass down the old path you slowly approach the dark maw of the rocky outcropping, even with the sun beating down through the treeline it does little to illuminate more than a few feet into the cavern. It's entrance is supported by large wooden struts and continue this trend deep beyond view.

Collapsed Tunnel

Soft padded thuds echo off the walls as the party travels move forward with their exploration, the cave's path closes quickly and unnaturally, multiple beams appear to have fallen in an apparent cave-in, now leaving just a narrow passage further into the depths.

Rickety Bridge

A massive chasm tears through the cavern, linking the two points resides only a partially rotted wooden bridge, some of the planks are missing, likely having been swept away in the shallow river below. A couple of dark silhouettes reside across the way.

The creatures are a pair of worgs, they were left at guards to stop intruders but have laid down to rest, a failed stealth roll across the bridge or any loud noise will awaken the beasts, if any party members are halfway or more across the bridge the worgs will attempt to attack them, if they are less than half way or overpowering the creatures they will flee to the group of bandits.

Wifflepuff

A few feet from the bridge resides an offshoot into a rather open clearing, a faint crying can be heard from inside.

The crying is coming from the wifflepuff plant though a skeleton is wrapped around the plant almost as hugging it, and the plant has grown in a way to place itself into her skeletal jaw. A successful survival 10 or a wisdom 15 check will identify the plants the wifflepuff plant. Approaching the plant will cause it to shoot off it's spore from the mouth of the skeleton. Anyone within 15 feet must make a DC 14 Wisdom Saving Throw or be lulled into a sense of euphoria. Every turn or whenever damage is dealt to the creature or a action is made to attempt to rouse them the player may make another roll. If the creature is taken away from the spores they will become consious
