The Switch version of Skyrim cannot read .esl formats, if your load order contains any .esl files they need to be converted to .esp. If you don't have any .esl you can skip to the next page.

Requirements:

• SSEEdit.

• Mod Organizer 2.

Step 1:

• Ensure that all .esl plugins are renamed to .esp. Follow the images below for easy steps.

Select "Open Mods folder".

Now simply search for .esl and rename the file to .esp.

• Go back to MO2 and refresh.

• After refreshing make sure to enable your .esp on the right panel!

Step 2:

• Locate your Mod Organizer 2 drop down and select edit.

• Select the + sign and locate SSEEdit.exe, select "OK".

• Launch SSSEdit and select every plugin, write down all the items that contain a .esl header then hit "OK".

• Now locate every .esp with a .esl header, we are going to change the header to .esp. Click the + sign on "Record Header".

• Double click on the header flag and uncheck "ESL", hit enter.

• Once you've done this for all your .esl flagged headers, hit "CTRL+S" to save and select "OK".

• Refresh Mod Organizer 2.
