We are limited to space on our SD cards, this method here will do 2 things for you.
- Help you reduce the amount of data taken up on your SD card.
- Ensure that you have no duplicates of assets and you know what mods overwrite each other. You have full control.
Requirements:
Getting Started:
- Download and enable all the mods you want then navigate to the "archive" section in Mod Organizer 2 to extract all your mod .BSA by simply right clicking, selecting extract and placing the extracted files into the same directory of that particular mod.
- After you've extracted all your .BSA files then delete all your MOD .BSA files. To easily get to your mods select the folder drop down inside of Mod Organizer 2 and "Open Mods Folder" then use the search function and search for ".BSA", delete all of them.
- After you're done extracting/deleting your mod .BSA files, refresh Mod Organizer 2.
- Now that your .BSA are fully extracted and gone you can start preparing your load order, on the left side of Mod Organizer 2 start to organize your mods in the order that you want them to override one another. For example, I want Skyland to override Noble Skyrim so I put Skyland under Noble Skyrim.
- Once you've finished your load order you will see all your .ESM, .ESP and .ESL files on the right hand side, select the SORT button to allow LOOT to organize your .ESM, .ESP and .ESL files in the best order.
