Getting Started - Littleozzz10/Continuum-Launcher GitHub Wiki
This guide walks you through setting up Continuum Launcher and using it for the first time.
Downloads
Go to the Downloads page to find links and info on downloading Continuum and the required Xenia executables.
Once Continuum is downloaded, be sure to place the Xenia executables in the correct place, as shown on the Downloads page. Filepaths should be as follows:
- "Continuum Launcher\Apps\Xenia\xenia.exe"
- "Continuum Launcher\Apps\Canary\xenia_canary.exe"
- "Continuum Launcher\Apps\Dump\xenia-vfs-dump.exe"
Using Continuum
First of all, the Controls page has a list of controls for all three input methods.
Additionally, Continuum has built-in interactive Tutorials to walk you through many actions in the launcher. To access these, click the "View Tutorials" button on the Welcome screen, or the "View Tutorials" button in the Menu. It is recommended you complete at least the first Tutorial.
Adding Games
The second interactive Tutorial, "2. Adding Games", walks you through importing games into Continuum, either through an STFS Folder Import or a Manual Import. An STFS Folder Import is preferable, and is possible on files straight off an Xbox 360 (in what's called GoD format).
For more information, including what GoD format and folder structure looks like, see the Adding Games page.
DLC and Title Updates
Continuum Launcher supports installing DLC and Title Updates to Xenia Canary. The third interactive Tutorial covers the Data Management window, and if you have accessible DLC and/or Title Update files, navigate to them in the Data Management window and Install them. It's that simple!
Custom Themes
The latest version of Continuum, v1.2, adds support for custom Themes. Some custom Themes can be found in the latest release of Continuum, and information on how to add them can be found on this page.
Additionally, you can modify the "XLTheme.txt" file that these custom Themes use to create your own custom Theme! This page will guide you in making your own Themes. If you feel you have created a good/unique Theme, contact Littleozzz10 if you want your Theme to be bundled in the next batch of custom Themes.
Further Information
For further information, visit the FAQ page, or look through the Window Glossary.
If you've found a bug and wish to report it, please open a new GitHub Issue (if one isn't already open for your problem), and upload your log file (found in Continuum's Logs folder). You can also use the Issues system to make feature requests or possible improvements to Continuum.
