• "Timed out for x seconds"

  • Try fiddling with your send internal in the 🤖Behavior tab under ❓Misc.

• Why is nothing showing up in the chatbox?

  • Make sure the 'Run?' checkbox is selected at the bottom of the screen
  • Make sure you have at least one of the top or bottom half configuration options selected in the layout editor

• I'm getting a `Media Manager Error

  • Use the Spotify API instead
  • Try restarting your device to reset the Windows' services (Actually press Restart. Do not shut it down and turn it back on)

• The song info displays Can't get Song Title or something similar

  • Make sure you have at least one application that can play audio open (Spotify, web browser, etc)

• When using other OSC programs while OCT is running, it causes an error

  • If you do not need any OSC listening features (Auto AFK, displaying mute status, etc), you can disable the Use OSC Listen checkbox in the OSC Options tab
  • If you still want to use these features and the other program you are using supports changing the OSC Listening port, enable the Use OSC Forwarding in the OSC Options tab and change the OSC Listen port in the other program to whatever the forwarding port is set to (9002 by default)
  • If you are using some versions of VRCFaceTracking, make sure to kill it from task manager after changing its port settings and restart both programs

• Checking a checkbox or typing in an input box doesn't seem to do anything

  • Make sure you press Apply to save your changes

• Spotify Authorization Failed: User is not registered in developer dashboard
