TG correction
For TG, a buoyancy blank value from an empty crucible is subtracted:

IR correction
For IR, the signal is shifted in y direction so that the cumulated noise in phases of no release is constant.

In the special case of CO2, the signal fluctuates periodically. Therefore, the baseline is aligned with the measurement and then subtracted from it:
