The SingularityOS conforms to the GNU General Public License allowing redistribution and modification of code without restrictions, apart from including the license itself.

However, users of the OS are allowed to create non-free applications on a system-wide, trust model. That is, a user can hide themselves or their code on the network and must be allowed access on a per user basis by the node owners.

The operating system allows people or myself to charge others for the software, but (in accord with the GPL) has a free version and source available as a user desires. When you have a beautiful body, you don't mind being naked. The software code for the OS will be so elegant that its code will be published for the sake of other engineers to admire it.
