The basic operating system is composed of four primary components. These four establish the fundamental architecture of the OPERATING SYSTEM. This shall be defined as a middle layer between application and hardware to facilitate many different functions to be run on the general-purpose computer.

• PROCESSING and SCHEDULING
• STORAGE
• COMMUNICATIONS and NETWORKING
• USER INPUT and OUTPUT

This architecture is the architecture. PositionOS implements this in software objects as well, to make the perfect operating system.
